Hello girls,

I would like to do a permanent eyebrow makeup, could someone explain me the difference between microblading and microshading?

Thanks for your feedback ladies 😉 !

hello,

For example, I had microshading done because I have dark, oily skin. The pro explained to me that on combination, oily, thick, dark skin it's better to do a microshading, the microblading hair will thicken otherwise and give a not very pretty effect....

So one of the differences between these 2 techniques is that you can't do microblading on all skin types, unlike microshading.

So much for my experience!

😊 😊 😊

Hello Louise,

I have microshading on my eyebrows. I had asked the question to the professional who explained to me that microblading doesn't produce a made-up effect, it just aims to reproduce a hair-by-hair effect. As for microshading, it produces the same effect as an eyebrow pencil. That's why I chose microshading: I wanted it to be intense. I hope that's clear, that's how I understood it 🙂

Hi Louise,

To answer your question, I can tell you about my own experience 🙂 ! I first did a microblading but I found that the effect didn't make up enough and the eyebrow wasn't defined enough. So, on the advice of the pro, I did a microshading. And I much prefer the structured, made-up look. Microblading filled in the gaps in my eyebrows.

Even if the result didn't suit me, I think that for someone looking for a more natural effect, microblading is more suitable!
